Somaliland is here to stay, nothing will change the brutal reality on the ground. Somaliland controls all of Sanaag and Sool. Somaliland excercises full sovereignty over its territory. No amount of lying, slandering or complaining on the internet will ever change that.
There are some sick individuals on this very thread who say Somaliland supports Al-Shabaab, obviously this claim of their's is based on hatred. To them, Somaliland is a clan-state even though that couldn't be farther from the truth.
Hargeisa was bombed by Al-Shabaab in 2008, many people lost their lives in this cowardly act of terror. Geigroor is ignoring this fact because he is hell-bent on undermining Somaliland in a futile attempt, in fact he probably was euphoric when this event transpired because he has shown many times his joy when 'Isaaqs' are killed. It is something to celebrate, at least in his twisted hate ridden mind. He is not serious about Somalinimo, for people like him this value holds no importance and is only utilised to justify a cause; creating a tribal Bantustan. To them Somalilanders are only the 'Eydoor' and 'Reerkii adeerkay geelka ka dhacay'.
The definition of Somalinimo is caring for all Somalis and working for their betterment regardless of what tribe they come from. When has Somaliland joining Somalia ever become a yardstick to measure Somalinimo? Somalinimo extends beyond the borders of these 2 countries, Somalinimo is pan-Somalism. It should apply to all Somali territories (Galbeed, Djibouti, NFD...etc).
The fact is, Somalinimo is nothing in the eyes of people such as Geigroor and his kind. It is worthless.
The problem is Somaliland will be recognised. Somaliland will triumph and succeed in a way they could never imagine. This will give them nightmares and prevent them from sleeping at night. It will destroy their lives.

Haters gonna hate. Ka nax oo nafta waa.

first of all somliland was never one unity country! under the british it was divided into defacto independent clan states!Methylamine wrote:Somaliland was the name given to the former protectorate after gaining independence from the British Empire on June 26, 1960, before forging a union with Somalia Italia to form the Somali Republic. That's why Somaliland is called what it is, to dissolve the unity with Somalia and regain its sovereigntySummerRain wrote:Also, What is behind the name...the significance? why Somaliland?
The fact that one clan is pushing this crap makes much embarrasing! Dhulbhante the isaas and the gadabursi and the makhir folks dont want any part of this somaliland nonsense pushed by isaaq!
They are litterally hostages in their own land dominated by this sick qabilist isaaq who only spew their propaganda nonsense.
their is no sovereignty to be regained! no one disolved its unite only the isaaqs! cuz the isaaqs have always been anti somali!
this is reality my fellow.
whats more disturbing is that not only do you pushed this lie of never being united, when indeed somalis were united unders adal and ajuuran empire.
but how you failed to realize how every country in the world was divided into city states, its only the past few centuries they united, but that doesnt mean that people who shared the same geography lineage langueage culture ethnictity didnt live side by side for thousands of years.
it is just fictional division you isaaqs are pushing for.

You see this the problem with isaaqs! there is no somaliland! only fictional isaaqland.
damn right!
let me map out the the mindset and history of isaaqs and their delution excapey!
“The Isaaq”, Somalia’s Troublesome Child!
As Somalis have strived towards the idea of nationhood, it has been the Isaq clan that stood alone in resisting the unity of the Somali people. Like a troublesome child who throws a tantrum when he does not get his own way, the Isaq clan has repeatedly displayed the selfish shortsightedness and violence of such childish outbursts but with dire consequences.

Personally I don't care, matter fact give the option to everyone. Macasalama, Somalis have always been independent from one another before independence.

so has every group in the world! this short sightedness and this delutional craving for division you isaaqs attribute is austonishing!Halmog wrote:Personally I don't care, matter fact give the option to everyone. Macasalama, Somalis have always been independent from one another before independence.
especially compared to all other ethnic groups in the world!
South sudan- difference in religion ethnictiy language, culture and politics from the north.- independent from north sudan!
Pakistan- difference in religion, politics and language ,culture!- independent from india
Norway. Difference in language , politics, culture! independent from sweden!
Isaaqland- Difference in nada! just delutional anti somali people!
you see the comparison!

Well done Gedo girl, Geo and the other wise Somalis. Somaliland is about preserving the true Somali identity. All the other places have been contaminated by non-Somalis.
Its already an indepndent state in its own rights and its time some people updated their chip and came to terms with the reality.
