New Book (Somali history)

A new book is due to be released in October 2011 insha'Allah. It is part of a series that will look at Somali history/personalities in great detail.

The first part of the series is about the late president Mohammed Siad Barre and his regime. It includes both his postive and negative impacts by scrutinizing his actions from a neutral point of view.

The total number of pages is 305 and includes rare colour and B/W pictures.

Why would anyone want to read about him anyway? I don't understand what so legend about old dude other than being president and toturing many people. :roll:
