Can anyone post Somali political (tribal) map

Postby waryaa » Tue Mar 06, 2012 3:09 pm

I need a Somali political (tribal) map showing Somali clans and where they populate on the map. The deeper subclans, the better. No "I more land than thou blsht" pls. Just a near factual map - thanks in advance.

There's the one on wikipedia. I seriously question any map that comes out of Somalia regarding the territories controlled by clans.

tnx bro accident! I found this on wiki: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... s_2002.jpg

I agree with you, those maps are often skewed to favor the author and his agenda.

some organization that deals with somalis asked me to help them with such a map. Like when some1 says I am from Tuni tribe, they wanna go to the wall map and see where Tuni tribe inhabits, how large it is, etc.

That's very interesting, a detailed, objective map covering all clans and ethnic groups would be very useful. Post it here, if you find anything better than the map you have now.

the reason I posted it here instead of copying one from google maps is for scrutiny. Sure, I'll post here whatever I find.
