It is jointly hosted by IGAD, the UN, and the AU and invited are Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jamee'a, the Gedo TFG administration, Ras Kamboni, and I think Azania as well. It is scheduled to open today.

Mashallah, I hope everything goes well.

I told these chest beating war monger members that the situation on the ground is alot different.

Jubbaland is under populated region in Somalia, about 1.5 million people....plenty of land and plenty of resources, there's no reason as why people should die fighting each other.

Kheyr Insha'allah :som:

This is the most promising thing for what is arguably the most resource rich state in the entire East Africa. The international community has accepted two things:

1. Jubbaland is Gedo, Lower Jubba, and Middle Jubba.
2. Jubbaland is a Darod majority state.

We shall see how this conference moves on.

Abdiwahab-

You need to get some self-respect.

This group is involved in too many regions, any smart person will see that this won't go down well with other factions.

Ahlu Sunnah provide a name for a lot of the fighters in Gedo. The head of Ahlu Sunnah in Jubbaland invited Sheikh Aw-Libaax (Marehan-Celi) is part of the Roadmap and signatory to it.

He is the guy next to Faroole during last week's Nairobi meet of the "principals".

Abdiwahab-

I am not sure you understand what emotional means. Look closer to home and your sniveling outcries. You are irrelevant to this discussion.

Substance of House Sade,

There is no suggestion however this is not pre 1990, Somalia has become a tribal state therefore placing members of a single tribe in various regions will trigger armed warfare. Verily this is something which we can not deny.
