Salah,

You failed to note one IC body that supports you guys. There is no bloody fighting between us, no economic interests that could gained by the west for your secession, you are a small population, and the west side of your country are fighting to be left alone from you guys. West see's zero reasons for your independence. The Arbitrators and Lawyers etc are for a power sharing government.

if you want Somaliland to move forward, have access to Loans, development, sign international deals, you will have to give up secession.

Somaliland already has access to development fool through its large diaspora and business people (not as much as it would as a recognised country) but still the idea #that they will give up their self earned sovereignty for some loan is non factor. Somaliland is already building roads, factories etc, so i am sure they can put a extra
effort while the Nigga your talking about if he acts up as the usual previous Somalia presidents will just remain a president for the south and maybe
Puntland that is if he doesn't upset Faroole.

Perfect Order,

You've conceded the following:

a) Hasan Sheikh Mohamud has the Somaliland-Somalia talks as a priority
b) You have conceded that the international community is the driving force of these talks
c) You have conceded that the international community will provide legal & economic assistance.
d) You have conceded Somalia is but a participant and has no power.

All that is left is to see either these talks to fail or to succeed, either scenario is a success for Somaliland. If Somalia comes to their senses and recognizes Somaliland it is a win. If they storm out of the talks, Somaliland will show the world how unreasonable Somalia is. The reason I am so confident is the legal, political & the people's will is on Somaliland's side. They control their territory and are a democratic country. The world does not view Somalia & Somaliland the same. Somaliland has a legitimate government elected by the people via one man one vote. Somalia has yet to reach there. Somaliland has the mandate of its people. Somalia unfortunately does not. It has just come out of transition.

I repeat Somaliland is not a priority, neither for Somalia nor for Xassan Sheikh, watch the video I posted of him back in late February of this year. We have more important things like establishing an effective functioning government, securing political control within Somalia, defeating Al Shabab, etc. This issue can drag on for all we care, we loose nothing, because we are considered as the legitimate government of Somalia.

This is not my best-case scenario, but this is just the reality on the ground.

Besides all things security, we are basically in the same boat. Same basic economy, education levels about the same, terrible poverty, many youths leaving. Our case will be we can work together to bring us out of our messes, get backing from the world, and do great things, all you have to do is drop this secession business.

It is not the first time others have been built aswell previously. Tahriib happens in even developing recognized countries, Somaliland tahriib is minimized
nowadays through deals with neighboring nations and rising awareness. As a person from Somalia you should be the last to talk about tahriib, when Somalia is
filled with the worst kind of piracy, illegal trafficking etc.. Even if Somaliland is not doing so well in certain areas it does not mean we have to share a country
what a insecure individual.

There's no need to have talks with the north they have isolated themselves we need to focus on the south for now.
Somalia doesn't have much choice it is being forced to talk and face the reality by the IC as Somaliland & Somalia = former Somali republic.
