I disagree, all people should be welcome, especially hawiye merchants.
The city must have a free and open market, not dominated by clan monopolies.
We want all of the Somalis currently doing business in Kenya to shift their businesses, whole or in part, to Kismayo.
I want to see the Jubbaland chamber of commerce with every Somali represented.
Kismayo is the closest thing to xamar we have left.
after all the genocide in xamar the demographics are changed forever.
In whole swathes of the city you could be mistaken for thinking your in rural glagadud/mudug.
Kismayo still retains its original demographic, even with the newcomers.
This must be used as selling point for the city.
