snm were the Somali equivalent of the free syrian army.
They were Ethiopian stooges and terrorist scum who killed thousands of unarmed civilans.
I remember them being put against the wall of the police station in Xudun, and being shot like the terrorist scum they were. :som:

Planning for a Airforce will take time and even longer to get the professionals
Khalid Ali, upon reading this, is greatly relieved. This gives him an opportunity to gather his belongings for a save "is-dhib" at Djibouti, before another 88.

When theres people like coldoon.. There's no wonder that our brother and sisters in the north don't want to reunite. You disgust me.

Don't compare USC, SNM and the Omar Jess lead SPM with the free Syrian army. The Somali freedom fighters fought a dictatorship that was corrupt, ineffective and that used qabyaalad to stay in Power. They used Ethiopia in order to get weapons but they were not used and controlled by the Ethiopian regime for the simple fact that they didn't create these rebel groups, nor did they carry out military operations with them like they did with Abdullahi Yusuf militia.

In contrast to these righteous groups, you have Morgan and Afweynes son who stole millions of dollars from the central bank only to fund their clan warfare.

The free Syrian army is carrying out the plans of the Wahhabis in Saudi Arabia, The Israelis and the Americans. They get weapon, intelligence, foreign fighters some are even professionally trained soldiers but no one gave this type of support to any of the Somali groups. That's why you shouldn't compare.

What the hell are you on about.?
The snm terrorist scum were armed, financed and controlled from Ethiopia.
It has been Ethiopian strategy to fragment Somalia for years. In fact you could say Ethiopians were the first Somalilanders.

If all these terrorist groups you claim were "freedom Fighters", what freedom did they bring to the regions and people they supposedly "liberated".
The issaqs fought a number of devastating wars between 1993, 1994-1996.
The hawiyes, well their atrocities and crimes against humanity are well documented.

Let them first teach basic discpline to those militia calool uusta, before handing them powerful weapons. Imagine if these militia maryo calasta use these kind of weapons against each other in Dharkeenlay. The government must eliminate such militia mooryaans, and hire real soldiers who will not robb and kill people, stealing their mobiles, raping girls in Huriwa.

Basic discipline, paying the salary and enlarging the army.

you can forget about the arms embargo being lifted anytime soon.
Firstly for the reasons above, and secondly because AMISOM will be deployed in Somalia for at least a decade.

It suit the international community for Somalia to not have a real army, it makes the government dependent on the IC, not just financially but for their very lives. :D

Abgaal

listen....the IC has the Haiti model for Somalia.
Security provided by UN/AU
services provided through NGOs
Somali politicians are required to just sign off on the western orders.

dont get ideas above your station. The ic see you as expendable.
sad but true.

First, the army, police, and intelligentia have to represent all the tribes less some tribes are armed at the behest of others.
Currenlty, the Hawiye are the most represented in the special forces units, army, and police because they inherited the capitol after the fall of the government and live in the epicenter of power.

Whether the current government is succesful or not will be determined by how the regions inhabited by un-armed tribes such as the Sh/hoose are handled by the current Islaax president.

We've been playing with some of these bad boy choppers for a while :MJ: hence our swift capture of Kismayo. you centralers are late and better get with the programme before we get bored and decide to test our missile accuracy on Galkayo South, Hobyo and Xamar itself :sadcam:
Sorry mate, there are no Cobras or Apaches being used by the Kenyattis. Lastly, Tolka are prone to get travel sickness when flying so no way they can become pilots.
