Just dont question the authority of that westren senior diplomate. He said: 'we will come down in terms of having probably a political lift of the arms embargo but retaining some control ' what the somali government want is a political signal that they are now a sovereign government we support this rather then a trusteeship'

No weapons should be given until the army is integrated and structured professionally. A draft for fresh recruits to replace the chat chewing militias around the country should be called. Their are plenty of unemployed young men who can be molded into a professional army.
