Thats unprofessional and did the president forget thay it will be Buale that will be the capital which is closer to garbaharay than baydhabo.
He's making the case that Gedo should governed from Baidoa given that it's closer to it than Kismayo. But there's a tribal element, given that Gedo is partly populated by his clan.
I think Gedo (partly) is proving itself very progressive when it defies its own supreme Ugaas to side with the opposition to Jubbaland. I can't remember the time a clan defied its own traditional leader like this.
Grandpa I dont know about you but this seems like something even kids would not entertain. As far as I know the two jubbas will not join this preposterous idea. The locals decide what they want and the locals of jubbaland seem pretty content with gedo and the two jubbas. Bay and the two shabeele can join to form their own entity.Bro, this will be a huge state compromising bay, bakool, jubbadahoose, jubbada dhexe, gedo and shabeelaha hoose, their will be huge conference in baidoa April 20 and the delegations are slowly starting to arrive. ergooyinka shrika koonfur galbeed aya hada imaan dhow.Lmao reporters calling him gurguurte! Not an Ugaas, the Ugaas. It shows deep infighting within the camp if the actions of an Ugaas is opposed. He has no official powers but a traditional leader holds sway in what they do, I mean, what is their purpose if not to act as a symbolic leadership? He's making the case that Gedo should governed from Baidoa given that it's closer to it than Kismayo. The Ugaas is not a ruler, but a traditional representative whose main purpose is xasilooni iyo nabad. They do not rule, nor do they govern, nor do they have armies, and nor are their opinions binding. So where do you get this idea that a maamul is beholden to an Ugaas?
