Can't defeat your enemies ...insult your enemies online.

Pick an Ak47 ...go to SL and pick a fight, instead of bitching on the internet.

Somalinet isn't a microcosm of the real world.

It's unladylike for woman to be talking so ill about dead people and dead politics. oodweyne your Zulu/galla dhul.

it's actually hilarious how butt-hurt some people are of Somaliland :pac:
Observing the metamorphosis of individuals on snet is somewhat of a hobby of mine. After roughly a year and a half spent observing various snetters and their habits, I've come to believe that most snetters experience at least 3 stages of what I've termed Snetnimo, with only a select few reaching the final elusive stage.

1-The first stage is a kumbaya, let's all get along, Somaliweyn idealist. This individual believes qabiil is an archaic institution that has been the cause of all of our problems.

2-The second stage is usually disillusionment, turning the snetter into a bitter cynic of all things Somali. In this stage, the forumer has witnessed his clan's name being dragged through the proverbial mud, and has developed a sense of kinship with other snetters of similar heritage.

3- The third stage is the hardcore qabiilist warrior, a forumer with no qualms about digging up old battles, posting pictures of the dead, or alluding to genocide to score points. This is the most common stage on Somalinet, with some never recovering and losing their somalinimo altogether in the process.

4- The fourth stage is what I like to term transcendental Somalinimo, a stage many never reach. This individual has (obviously) experienced all other stages of snetnimo and has come to the realization that qabyaalad has little meaning in his/her life and, similar to the first stage, has reaffirmed his/her belief that the institution of qabiil is not conducive to development as a state. In many cases, this individual no longer believes in the validity of qabiil lineages, and has done extensive research on the genetic history of the Somalis, often coming to the conclusion that our respective origin myths conflict with scientific evidence. This individual no longer participates in the tit-for-tat flame wars that have come to characterize Somalinet "political" discussions, and somewhat believes in the eventual (for me, inevitable) reconstitution of a powerful and united Somali state.

I reckon my nigga Baris is well into the second stage and possibly moving towards the third stage :)
:dead: based you are hillarious and some what accurate with regards to your assesment of the 4 different stages ive noticed that too, ive also noticed that alot of people get stuck in stage 2 and 3

which state would you place these 4 indivituals below
