Yes indeed they are close, when reer laascaanood from seattle wants to call back home and when reer hargeysa from london wants to call back home they both use the same country code 252

Outside of the political conflict there hasn't been any serious clashes I can think of.

No they dont have to join Somaliland the khatumites should wave the blue flag in their tuulo taleex, they dont need to join SL if they want to remain with the hawiyes why should we force them let them empower their daarood cousins

Khaatumo should just negotiate with Somaliland. Think about it, peace and development for the region. Worst case scenario, Somaliland actually finds seccesion and Khaatumites can just wave the blue flag again. What does Khaatumo have to lose with negotiating? Laascanood connects the north with the south, it can economically thrive if its diaspora focused on just developing the region.
