Things happening in Central State of Somalia

There was a showdown at the election of the committee head, between the Damu jadiid candidate HG-Ceyr Xil.Halima Yarey [the widow of the recently murdered engineer Anshoor in Mogadishu] and the Ala-sheikh who were fronting a candidate from the Dir Community.
The vote ended up in favour of Halima Yarey with significant bribes having been paid [On both sides] to make things happen so thats already 1-0 for the DJ in that particular tussle.

From what I hear the preliminary power sharing agreement is not even fleshed out for several reasons firstly it would seem that the positions are going to be divided as follows:

State President: Habar Gedir
Vice President : Marehan/Dir
Speaker of Parliament: Murusade

Now where ever the capital might be located the majiority sub-clan automatically looses its right to the presidency meaning I mean if its cadaado Salebaan automatically kisses its campaign goodbye, if its dhusomareeb then same thing with Ayr.

The Main candidates in my eyes are as follows

Abdi Qeybdiid - Independent/Strong leader/Political survivor/Galmudug region Prez/Financially ok/but carries tonnes of baggage from 25 years in Somali politics [Habar Gedir - Sacad]
Amb. Macalin Fiqi - Ala - Sheikh Former comparatively successful head of NISA/ Very well funded campaign/Can draw on Xisbi support more than just clan based politics/but is not a natural politician.
Hussein Guutale - IndependentCampainging hard in Nairobi and Addis amongst the IGAD and Western donor countries/ Has a lot of state secreats he can use to get his way/ but is too young and not respected enough to cause/ lacks funding to battle with big boys.
Dam Jadiid Candidate - Support of state apparatus and foreign relations/Extremely well funded campaign/Depending on clan will be able to secure clan votes as well as xisbi votes/ but Central state I would say is the most naturaly anti DJ population in Somalia/might be stuck in a rut with people voting against him in principle/protest vote////

This is very preliminary lets see what happens

There seems to be a mind-blowing plan that has been hatched by DJ, they seem to have reached agreement to back Qeybdid as the new president of Central state region!!!!
If that is the case then this already very strong candidate is more than likely to be the man to beat in the upcoming election, he is campaigning hard and is actively wooing Cayr to vote for him !!!

So it seems as things stand to be a two horse race between Qeybdid & Fiqi both Sacad and both campaigning hard on the ground....

During the meeting he was told un equivocally that what happened in the hall is out of politeness and he can not expect a single saleeban VOTE after what happened to Reer Farah Rooble boys in Xamar while he was NISA Director - General [Killing of 7 boys of the same family [Pre al-shabaab] and then their bodies being dumped on the road in Dayniile] indeed they had come for the Diya payment.

Fiqi was shocked beyond measure and after trying his best to convince them otherwise the head of Ximaan and Xeeb Barleex convinced him to pay half the diya as the admin pays the rest as a goodwill gesture!!

With that sort of feeling I think Fiqi's goose is cooked in Cadaado, if its true that DJ is tactically supporting Qeybdiid to be central state pres then he is still the candidate to beat.
