after the gulf countries, westren countries r relocating their embassies in aden!

Postby sahal80 » Sun Mar 01, 2015 9:55 pm

US and UK govts to join the gulf states to resume their missions from aden

Sancaa is finish as the UN envoy announced relocating the talks out of sanca

Hadi who hails from south was the vice president of yemen before replacing the former president in 2012 in a road map power transition but got spoiled by iran and the former president ali salah

Funny is that southren powers and the houths were old allies against the yemeni ruling party since 1994 where the houths were the only group who supported the southreners

Houths don't mind yemen splitting in order to control the north who has shia majority.

Kkkkkk stick to your banadir stories lol

Yemen is 53% sunna shafia, 47%shia-43% zaydia 2% jafariya

First sunni president of yemen was the resigned acting president hadi mansour, rest were shia including ali salah

Northern yemen politics r totally dominated by the zaidia shia since the middle ages
Imams of Yemen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imams_of_Yemen

Absolute majority in the north

40% of yemen

"Yemenis are divided into two principal Islamic religious groups: 50-55% Sunni and 42%[1]-47%[2] Shia. The denominations are as follows: 50-55% primarily of the Shafi'i and other orders of Sunni Islam. 40-45% of the Zaidi order of Shia Islam, 2-5% of the Ja'fari and Western[citation needed] Ismaili orders of Shia Islam. The Sunnis are predominantly in the south and southeast. The Zaidis are predominantly in the north and northwest whilst the Jafaris are in the main centres of the North such as Sana'a and Ma'rib"

South will get the sunni gulf countries support thou and behind them the west as sanaa is aligned with iran, syia and iraq

Moving the institutions to the south is a big step towards restoring the independence

let me enlighten you about the northern yemen my clueless guest!

every region has big clans, so, in this region the biggest clans r called bakil and hashid federation, there r 400 zaidi tribes, some r part of other smaller tribes
http://www.google.nl/url?q=http://en.m. ... ayYqe_za_w
"Demographics of Yemen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
en.m.wikipedia.org/.../Demographics_of...
Yemen is still a largely tribal society. In the northern, mountainous parts of the country, there are some 400 Zaidi tribes."

The most influencial clan is the hashid tribe in wich the former president ali salah was belonging to also the former speaker abdallah al ahmer and most of the former ruling party and the generals even al islah figures

These tribes belong to the hostorical hamdan tribe who sided with imam ali in yemen against the rule of muawiya or bani umaya vs imam ali sons

Sunnis r found at the southren borders at ibb province that's why there's a war between the tribes and the houths, in the rest of the north its between houths vs the govt

Fi Kul sara7a Sahal is right. A7li min muwaleed 3den and it's clear fact the Zaydis historically dominated the North.

The percentage numbers are close though and do not believe the stuff about this being sectarian. The Houthis have support from Sunni tribes close to Saada, although they have zero support the closer you get South. If they try to follow Hadi South by trying to takeover Marib it will be a disaster. Its mostly Islah and their afflliates who are trying to make this appear like a Iraqi scenario to outside observers. The Houthis hate Islah and Saleh wants to get rid of them as a rival so they had common interest there. They also push propaganda that the Zaydis are now Twelver Shia which is also a lie. All throughout the North you will find mosques where Zaydis pray with Sunnis and vice-versa, there aren't many major differences between the two.

Both ways the new scenario is a disaster. The Houthis felt they can get whatever they asked for through applying force and now are stuck trying to govern a state way above their capabilities. Hirak is a mess and can't take advantage of Hadi in Aden so I dont expect much to change as far as the status quo.
