The parliment voted now its S-net's turn

Post by zingii »

Should neighboring countries get involved in our mess?
That includes: Ethiopia, Kenya, & Djibouti.

We have waited too long for things to change for the better but thats unlikely to happen in the near future.

Did the parliment make the right decision?

Plz: Dont hijack the thread and make it into qabiil.

Only a Somali solution can work in Somalia.
if worst comes to worst, we need that "mind eraser" from that Men in Black movie

If we fry all the brains of all those who want Somalia to be chaotic then we can move forward.

We need to give power to the elders in the chaotic regions, this solution worked in the north and I don't see how it would not work in the south.
since all Somalis are the same in my opinion, if the elders in the south were given power back they could work shit out.

Samatr do you know anything about Somalia besides Hargeisa?

Since when was Al Shabaab a "Somali organization" that sits down with "somali elders". The kid is on shrumes or something.

Am afraid we have tried everything in the south from ( elders, warlords, clerics, clan/tribe) and nothing have worked.
The south and the north are comparable because the south population is twice as the north or even triple and lots more
clans live there with conflicting interests, that alone makes it much more complex than the north.

I never said anything about Al Shabaab.
I said the key to fixing the problems in the south is to put the elders in a position in which they can make peace; how that's going to happen is a whole different story.
Hargeysa miyaan kaa xigaa; you see thats the mentality thats holding Somalis back.

Saaxiib the elders have no voice from what I have heard, I may be wrong. I know one thing, if the Somalis who live outside of Somalia keep giving a blind eye to the situation back home, nothing will change. I have had countless discussions with Somalis and what needs to be done in order for Somalia as a whole to move forward, the only thing that we have agreed upon is that the Somalis who live abroad can make a big difference in how things play out....

The world intervene somalia twice back in 1991 and 2006, they both failed and left more havoc and unrest, what difference it would make now except making worst then it's now.

somalia should be left for somalis. alshabaab and it's crew should given a chance to rule somalia. it's thier country and they have the right to govern how ever they want. they do not have to please ethiopia and igad.
