i listened to a radio interview with a fuming parliamentarian woman who said she was from Puntland and is the speaker for women parliamentarians and her tribe. This woman was so pissed off with ina Farmajo and his crew. She said Mr Sharif had his way to appoint young men who worked as his clerks/secretaries. She was talking about these guys you have here.

She wanted a guy from her tribe for a ministerial position and went bananas when he didn't get the post. She said we as a clan "warsangeli" had a large meeting with our elders, leaders, politicians, intellectuals (are we assumed non-intellectuals by default?) and the educated (tells you education is a rare privilege in somalia) etc and decided not to support the government any more. What surprised me is how much time and energy they spent on campaigning against the new PM just because their guy is not in the cabinet.

..... and the reality on the ground is that alshabab controls Mogadishu and all southern Somalia. These people were supposed to hold hands and fight alshabab together.

The old generation failed us so let's see how the younger guys perform. These guys need a chance to be tested......

do you know how old this "Dr Xuseen Warasame Samater" is? The old school/retired men are up in arms to discredit the young generation. I listened to a guy who said he was the chief of Puntland clan chiefs on radio. He said last nite "these young men cannot run a government" He was angry with ina farmajo for appointing young guys. He wanted his old school buddies to stay around.

Considering the daul track strategy this distribution does not serve Koonfur interests nor will the northern seats aid the TFG to achieve victory.

People seem to have a missunderstanding of Puntland. The place is Majority Majeerteen but Leelkase, Warsangeli iyo Majority of Dhulbahante and of course Ortable are Puntland clans that hold Puntland interest at heart. The Vice President of Puntland is Dhulbahante, the Speaker of Pariment is Leelkase and the Interior Minister is a Warsangeli General well known in Somalia.

I did not say 3 out of the 18 minister went to Majeerteen but rather Puntland.

ps: The TFG is dead and has been ever since A/Y left, but a few Puntlanders making people wa iska okay.
