Note: colonisers named any resistance : Dervishes. The label Dervish is not exclusive to the dhulbahante.

The Dervish did'nt achieve their goal. They couldn't face the Brits army face to face on the battle fields, so they did 'Hit & Run' tactics. Just like so called 'Kastumo/SSC' have been doing to SL in some parts in gobolka Sool and hiding in the woods and mountains.original dervish wrote:So who was fighting and killing the British for 21 years......the tooth fairy?

AUN warriors.
Ron as you can see with photographic evidence - the *Isaaq* Dervishes actually fought a traditional conflict with the British. Not petty skirmishes.
