Somaliland: Khatumo leader admits failure to reach his goal
Dr. Ali Khalif Galeyr, the leader of secessionist militia group has admitted that his dreams of establishing Khatumo state of Somalia in Somaliland has failed and all his efforts ended in vain.
He announced that the armed insurgency against Somaliland Defense forces did not bear fruit and that his militia has been overpowered by the mighty of Somaliland national army.
He said that the national army has outnumbered compared to his militia and that they can not withstand them in a battle.
Mr.. Ali Khalif has added that he is currently in Mogadishu, Somali’s war torn capital and stated that much of what is taking place in Somali politics is decided in the capital.
Mr. Ali Khalif has told that the meeting with Somali president Hasan Sheikh Mohamoud was arranged by Somali lawmakers.
He acknowledged that he is looking for an opportunity to the failed talks between Somalia and Somaliland after all his dreams were destroyed.
He blamed the diaspora community that hail from East Sool, and South East Buuhoodle regions that they failed to send contributions to recruit robust soldiers that can withstand the power of Somaliland army.
