RCMP in Surrey, B.C., have taken the unusual step of releasing the names and photographs of men it alleges are contributing to a gang war that has resulted in at least 17 shootings in the city, and three in Delta since March 9.

At a news conference on Tuesday, Chief Supt. Bill Fordy stood beside a poster board with the likenesses of the men allegedly involved in the violence, with most described as victims.

He said two different groups of South Asian and Somalian descent that are involved in low-level drug trafficking are engaged in a turf war.

Typical. Just typical. Instead of going to school and getting a life, these kids want to emulate every gangster movie they see on TV. Now they're dead or wanted for shooting rival criminal scum over 'terittory'. These young men could've been engineers and doctors but now they're six feet under the ground/behind bars. Education looks an unlikely escape route. Overcrowded houses mean children have nowhere to do their homework. In 2010-11 around 33% of Somali children got five good GCSEs, the exams taken at 16, compared with 59% of Bangladeshi pupils and 78% of Nigerian ones.

Just one in ten is in full-time work.

In 2000 just one Somali teenager in the London borough of Camden passed five GCSEs with good grades.

Stfu. What would u like them to be like? The one's here in the Uk/London? Who are bullied and are the most hated ethnic group in london. The term "Somalian" is a slur over here in london, and The somali's here are known for being soft i.e Masakin
I have experinced this first hand, and know about this. Somalis over here only fight each other, and over khat and garabo.
