There is no actual original Somali word that has the sound "Kh" in it apart from Khuuro (snore) even that might have been Quuro originally

So when you say Qaldan instead of Khaldan, it's a personel prefrence.The letters Kh and Q are both in the Somali alphabet and are often times used interchangeably. Its harder for some people to sound out or say Q, so they substitute it for Kh.

All other forms are heavily diluted/bastardized.
