I don't know much about Qabil or Politics but here is what I know.

Hawiye caused much pain and suffering to so many Somali Clans in 1991-1992. They have not apologized or compensated anyone for the suffering. And all of a sudden you expect people to just forget everything and jump into your train? Hawiye are like, Hey whatever happened has happened so lets just chill and roll. It does not go that way tribe mates. People will think you will get arms and money and power then destroy whatever little life they have built with their bare hands and sweets.

Call it whatever you want but the Somali Fed gov't is Hawiye gov't just the same way Somaliland is Isaaq gov't and Puntland is MJ gov't. You can have few MJs or Isaaqs in the gov't and call them Federal if you want. I was told if you go to any gov't office in Muqdisho, 70% of whom you will meet is Hawiye. You can have one or two dhulbahante or mareexaan in the higher offices but even their personal secretary and his driver is Hawiye.

What I am saying is Hawiye is running a gov't without proper reconciliation with other clans so its failing because one clan cannot run a gov't. Every other clan is not loyal to this gov't. Think about a car to drive a train which 80% of the whiles are punctured. No matter how hawiye put efforts into this gov't, it will not work until they own up what they did markaas ay dadka daweeyaan. 70% of those kids who were born in 91-92 were born while running away for their lives and most of them lost relatives. Guess one, they are the ones that is making the decisions for their clans today.

What if those clans believe Hawiye did more damage to them than any foreigner will ever do to them in their life time? Before you show them another enemy, why don't Hawiye own up what they did and apologize then give some compensation or atleast promise to do so.

The Government is on a 4.5 system, Hawiye has the exact same MP's as DIR, Raxanweyne and Darood, the idea that it's a Hawiye government is foolish to assume, a tribal government would never function we both know this, the only tribal governance is in S/Land and P/Land

Your apologetic argument is the same as you being told to apologize for ISIS killings, I know of Somali politic's a lot more then you, there was never a widespread violence on Darood, don't mistake the war against Barre's soldiers for a war against Darood, they had been committing atrocities way before the uprising and during the uprising then what was done to them vice versa, if you really are HG, you would know about the late 80's when he armed MJ alone to kill several 100's of innocent goat herders while Ceydiid years before refused the same offer when they created SSDF ?

How about the Keenadid using the italian's against HG were up to thousands lost their life? the very first massacre in Somalia? How about Mad Mullah when he brutally murdered Raxanweyne for speaking what he called "AF GAAL" and innocent HG herders? How about C/Yusuf using 50000 Ethiopian troops were over 100.000 Hawiye died mostly innocent and the majority of them HG, they lost everything they had and until this day haven't fully recovered their neighbourhoods that were exclusively targeted and raised to the ground?

How about the infamous Kofiyad duub, the Gen Mohamed abshir hamaan in the 60's whom killed half the life stock of HG and up to a thousand man with others perishing in prisons ? Do you even know any history of what happened to HG or are you just a sheegato like most of the people on here are saying? Do you see any HG crying about apologies? no Somali clan suffered more atrocities and I mean sustained atrocities like HG has, there is a reason why they are so fierce in battle and protective and karbaashed everyone else
