Buuhoodle celebrates Somali independence

Post by Sharmarke91 »

The noble people of Buuhoodle celebrate the Somali independence day in a mass demonstration which drew huge crowds from all the areas of the city. The demonstration also marked a rejection of the recent agreement between Ali Khalif and the self declared secessionist enclave of Somaliland.

This poverty stricken, back-water village will fall sooner or later. A couple of peasants celebrating will not stop the inevitable. Mark my words.

Buuhoodle Wayn iyo Shaxdii, Baabbulaa degaye

Indeed Buuhoodle is the home of the true Dhulbahante lions, men, women and children who have never bowed down to any invader. Their love of freedom and Soomalinimo in the face of any enemy is unsurpassed among the Somalis.

Long live the Lions of Buuhoodle and the sacred city of Buuhoodle. May Allah shower you with blessings and victory over your enemies.

The iidoors have delusions of grandeur....true enough they have more merchants and wealthy elites than Dhulbahante.
However.....when it comes to ordinary peasant stock they are far far worse off than us.

Just look at the last ten years.....they have lost hundreds and hundreds to starvation and thirst.
Their lands are overpopulated/ overgrazed and degraded beyond repair no longer able to sustain life as we know it.

This is not a problem, we can just annex more of your land.

Benny....this aint a pissing contest just an honest observation.
Most, if not all, iidoor on iidoor violence in the east is over grazing land.

You have already inadvertently proved this in your Sanaag posts.
IIdoor grazing lands are heavily overpopulated compared to Dhulbahante.
More often than not iidoor nomads graze our lands. :)

OD you are right, we may have shortages of suitable grazing land due to larger population numbers, this would have been a serious problem but we are lucky to have qurjiile as neighbours, we can practically take as much land (be it towns or pastures) as we require without issue, we have been doing this for decades sxb

Qurjiile are like the land savings account for Duriyada.

Benny.....name one tuulo that has been built on Dhulbahante land during the last 25 years. :)
Somali Xeer allows for reer miyi to graze wherever they can find grazing.....only blood feuds deters this practice.

Let's address my original point......iidoor peasants are far far worse off than their Dhulbahante neighbours. :)

OD my subclan lives entirely on former qurjiile lands, including all of our pastures and villages, you know this :)

This is why I am not worried about our higher population figures, we will just get more land from 'the savings account' if you will :)

On a serious note I am glad you're admitting to the fact your feminine cousin was dancing around, namely that your side of Sool (and three villages in Sanaag) is largely uninhabited.

Benny...number don't mean anything to me......it's all about land/resources. :)
