no book can be written about somalia without mentioning guulwade siyaad.
every somali knows his name, every polictian want his stature among the somali
siad barre has entered the elite ranks of great somalis, ahmed guray, sayed and siyaad

from a orphan to a man that shaped a entire nation

r.i.p to my personal hero, abe siyaad the lion of africa, the king of the somalis and the most feared men among the ethiopians

siyaad gave you ertitrea and djoubuti and saw the desolation of 100 year old monarchy.

siyaad is our washington, churchill and bismarch at the same time
will we see another iconic figure like siyaad in our time, time wil tell, so my fellow somalis, fok more so we can increase our chances of producing such a great man

I hope he burns in hell, which he most likely will for killing his citizens women, elderly and children. He would forever be remembered in history to be the only leader who air bombed his own citizens.

Your speaking like a Jew I hope everyone can see this post on a public forum and how Faqash mentality is still the same after 30 years.

Citizens got bombed thousands of times in the second capital at the time, they where mostly children, women and elderly. Most did not get berried the Islamic way, but were put into mass graves, some even berried alive. At least Israel warns Palestinians when they about to bomb. No citizens were warned and women were repeatedly raped.

30 years later, not a single apology from the killers and their clansman. In fact the killers got state funeral. This is faqash mentality that needs to be eradicated, but hay Farmajo the president of Somalia believes in the same thing. How far people go to back their fellow clansman and keep them in power, make excuses for them when they are dead.

This is why somalia is still a crap hole and a failed state. No justice, no reconsilation, not even an apology. Rwanda which had a much worse genocide is now a model for Africa. Because the killers apologised to the victims, they reconciled and made peace.

But when there is people who blindly support their clansman no matter what, be it Original Dervish or the president farmajo, even after 30 years holding the same beliefs. Then there would never be peace, prosperity and reconciliation. And Somalia would never be united.

General caynaashe general gabayre and the samana abokor habarjeclo who was the speaker of parliament did the coup. Afweyne just killed them and turned a revolution into darood pest nest.. when afweyne hired his dogs gaani and axmed selebaan duufle. The country whent after 1977 to the ground. Diplomacy was done by cumar carte qaalib. And the haile selassie of the Somali army was no other than cabdilahi general askar barkad xildiiduun xiliyun xalalun ximriyun xabashun xadramum
