The book reveals many secrets about Tarzan and his entire family. It's interesting to know that he was a waqal (bastard) who was raised in an orphanage in Mogadishu and later on was trained as a soldier and ended up playing for the national basketball team before going abroad.
Why does everyone claim to have been born in Mogadishu when that is not the case?
The author of the book is Andrew Harding who has been a BBC journalist for more than 25 years.
Why did the former mayor of Mogadishu (Abdirazak Mohamed Nur Tarzan) let a white man write and profit from his biography

My guess is not to be seen as reer miyi or reer tuulo. With that said, Xamar being the biggest city in Somalia and the seat of the government, a lot of people were born there.lone wrote: Sun Aug 18, 2019 1:48 pm The book reveals many secrets about Tarzan and his entire family. Do you have a link to a site that is selling the book? And what clan does Tarzan belong to or claim?

The position of mayor in Xamar is reserved for the largest clan (in term of numbers) that live there.
