Hawiye would have to give up major concessions if Banadir state is to become a reality.

This is actually a noble cause, it would stop the hawiye from claiming the presidency just because its part of their degaan. There is also an opportunity to quietly move the capital from Hamar into one of the shabelle hoose degaans that is settled by bantus/biyobaal/raxanweyn. This place is not far from Mogadishu and they would just state that the Madaxtooyada would be the new regional administration office of the new Banadir state. This new madaxtooya in Sh/Hoose should be planned and built in the next three years so it looks modern and industrial. It should also be protected and guarded heavily without Amisom protection. It should be the seat of government, parliament, embassies, and so on.

So in reality I like this idea. It would also minimize the people that constantly criticize the government for collecting tax and not rebuilding the city, or having other people from other parts of Somalia dominate their affairs. It will also empower the new Banadir state to undertake security measures that will not be politicized and will take full ownership.

Good idea. I support this 100%. Don't forget HAG are deep inaide LS and a new capital in LS would make us alot richer.
