things are looking bad in puntland

Postby Nomand » Tue Dec 01, 2020 8:59 am

first the MP's in parliament want to put a motion against the speaker who is pro deni, the MP's also want to hold the government accountable for the fraud of UAE taking over bosaaso port. bosaaso port is now basically non functioning. they are trying to put motions in the parliament to cancel the deal but deni and the speaker are not allowing it

now puntland has been printing fake somali money for over 20 years and inflation reached such a point where deni now said no one can use shilling somali and only use dollar. people in puntland are now allover puntland from bosaaso to gaalkacyo demonstrating and calling on president farmaajo to come and save them from deni.

Majertenia has no idea of what federalism actually means. Any country that is truly federalist would have a strong central government but this Dhabayaco led enclave rejects a strong federal government ruling them unless they are in charge of this federal government. Somalia is being held back by this TPLF mindset

I am sure PL would have declared independence a long long time ago if not for the fact they have always been part of Somalia since the Europeans first came to colonise Africa

its not even about that, it is about how can a president fire MP's. what is the point of having MP's if the president can just get rid of them at any time. where is their dastuur? . it seems deni just makes up stuff

:mindblown:

puntland also had 20 years of peace but they still select their MP's and president and don't have 1m1v.

If Puntland was to break away from Somalia, the odds are it would stand far better chance of being recognized internationally than a certain other clan enclave farther north.

^ Interesting observation. What do you base on Puntland having a better chance of international recognition than Somaliland? Legally speaking, Ictiraafland has more of a case, however slim, than Puntland.

You are right Somaliland has, in theory, at least, slightly better chance than Buuqland, but honestly I don't think the latter would have fared any worse than the former has in its 30 year quest for the holy grail of ictiraaf. .

AW, there is no denying Puntland produces more King Kong look alike Faaraxs than any other region in the Peninsula, but having said, lets, for God's sake, not make it sound like other parts of the country don't have their share of this natural phenomenon.

When someone take responsibility of the nation such Puntiland, but reality cann't run and manage the administration's duty, he becomes a clown or joke that,s typical president Dani, he think he can finish his term go around Nairobi, Dubei and elsewhere. No divisionte, you have to tackle Pintilands issues which is huge then you thoughts.

Keep dreaming boy, do you think people in Puntland are homeless ilkayar laangaab like you. They will never destroy their land. Farmaajo will soon be kicked out of Xamar and he failed to accomplish or even secure you kismayo. Your ppl are hungry and have no wealth or assets. I would be more concerned about the future of Gedo and cabudwaq if I were you.
