'wild Somalis', 'treacherous fellows' and equating Somalis with 'wild beasts' were the terminology of the day. There's even a New York publication of that era charging the Sayid's forces with cannibalism, in a country where there was/is an abundance of livestock.

This was probably the USA first interactions/reports about Somalis, they are continuing this very same policy today, contain the savages and dont let them spill past their borders. :lol:

In order to hurt people you have to dehumanize them I guess Somalis were the early victims and Jews joined us later in the Holocaust
