Somalia to give Ethiopia fish in exchange for khat

Postby mahoka » Sun Jun 20, 2021 12:09 pm

Somalia will be exporting fish to Ethiopia and in exchange will be getting khat from Ethiopia

This programme was tested in Somalia’s puntland region and now fully implemented by the central gov in Mogadishu.

There are several questions: the people of Somalia mostly eat Kenyan mira which is stronger than Ethiopian khat

Similarly why is kenyan khat banned while Ethiopian khat floods the market. Although the ban is not effective as there is no government to control things and places like bosaso town and beledweyn enjoy the snuggled kenyan mira.

Nabar iyo naxdin bots are ok with, it's moral thing for them to exchange a drug for food.

Thank God for federalism. This deal only affects areas under direct control of the Ethiopian lover in villa Somalia. SL, PL and JL will not transport fish to Ethiopia in exchange of khat.

another win for federalism.

Power and decision making must be share to make sure one guy doesn't drag the entire country with him like the current puppet's adeer did.

This is legalising mafioso in the South.
If the Ethiopians want our fish they should pay for it in US Dollars.

Furthermore, what kind of trade is this......Ethiopian population get nutritious fish while we get spaced out drug addicts.

Somali politicians must be the most brain dead, corrupt in Africa.

I would just make distinction between Jland n Pland. Pland behaves like a separate country. Separate foreign policy. Even have their own separate central bank. Pland want nothing less than confederalism. Jland wants genuine federalism. Whether it is run by Ahmed Islam or Marehan n I hope they work that out peacefully

People don't understand how this works. :snoop: It's not a literal trade where they get fish and we get khat and they are exchanged. It means our market is open for khat(they have been exporting already) while theirs is open for our fish. They pay for OUR fish with MONEY MONEY while we pay for their KHAT with MONEY as well. It just means we are allowing exports to occur between the two countries while we can export our product, and they can export theirs too. People here need to take an economics 101 lesson to understand barter system has been dead for a long time now.

Only people getting cheated are the kenyan stooges who are sold banned khat while they don't export anything to kenya. In fact, KDF exports their coal as if kismayo is part of kenya and gets all of the profits and taxes.

This Ethiopian dabaqoodhi mtfkr is the worst traitor i have ever seen. nacalatullahi calaa doqomadii Xamar ee Hasssn Sheekh ku badalatey ayagoo wadaniyad bug ah mooge ka iibsadey. i now believe stopping the Kenyan khat has to do with Ethiopia 100% also traveling through Addis Ababa instead of Nairobi has revived the Ethiopian economy but our friend waare goes too far and talks about حروب الافيون they taught us in Arab schools. this means a war between the two countries if Mogadishu bans the khat after mooge لعنة الله عليه وعلى من والاه!

Did you even read the agreement. This called “Bartering” which is. exchange of goods and services between two or more parties without using money. Worst your exchange Fish for drugs. Inalilahi waa iniliahi rajicuun. Instead of just banning the drug which has destroyed countless lives and working on getting rid of it, here you are bringing more of it. Doesn’t matter Kenya or Ethiopia but than we all know you have a political agenda here LOL

Khat has always been political currency in Somalia.
Most militias don't get cash payments....only khat and food.

Whoever devised this diabolical plan is a treacherous s.o.b.

Whoever it was that fixed our collective I.Q at 68, was, indeed, exceedingly generous with his reckoning. :meles:

People need to stop with this 68iq nonsense, I've actually seen racist white alt-right use it when discussing ilhan omar online.

Somalis have exceptionally high social and emotional iq, collective logic on the other hand, is continually and deliberately evaporated through decisive policies by governments that are composed of hyenas, how many years has farmaajo been in office?

The truth of the matter, is that Somalis back home live in an illogical society because they perceive that crime DOES pay.

This entire collective mental slumber has been enabled for the past 4 years by Kheyre, fahad yassin, beyle and gamal hassan (aka mr $400,000,000 side account from the national fishing concessions) they have and will continue to block any anti-corruption efforts.
