If I was a betting man, I would bet a fortune Balanbale will overtake Caabudwaaq within the next 10 years possibly, but certainly in the next 15 or so years.

A great example of this is right next door with Dhusamareb and Guriceel. Dhusamareb town today isn't 1/2 the size of Guriceel let alone even 1/3 as vibrant.

I know a lot about Caabudwaaq and with the sufficient historical comparison and features in Mudug (think Dhusamareb, Ceel-Buur, Hobyo yesterday vs Caabudwaaq, Guri-Ceel, and Cadaado today) ---wallahi I would bet a fortune that Balanbale will overtake Caabudwaaq as Caabudwaaq enters mid-life crisis and then retirement.

Caabudwaaq was breeding by necessity. Balanbale is reproduction because of romance.

In fact, I would even say Dhabad would most likely follow the trajectory that Cadaado went through, spinning off from the shadow of Dhusamareb to the north.

While Balanbale would take on the trajectory that Guriceel took---attracting the great desire for romance after the natural dissatisfaction with breeding.

To keep up with the pace of Balanbale's stunning growth rate, I recommend using ESRI aerial which has updates showing after every 6 months rather than Google Maps which sometimes doesn't even update 5-7 years.

Jimbie, you are correct to criticise abdi wayeel that was a disgusting thing he did. But your boy cali ciid who you protect at all cost is even worse.

Caabudwaaq needs PR minor incidents should be kept under the rug, and people like Dhabcasar should be arrested and deported.

certain things are not for public consumption thats why we have whatsapp groups and private meetings. :lol:

We dealing with Abdiwayeel shenanigans, the stuff A-wayeel sent to cabudwaaq to hold illegal elections were arrested. Cali ciid was dealt with before he doesn't intervene like your uncle

The next steps will follow in this trajectory and this is not "prediction," it is basic socio-historical understanding;

1. "Galmudug" will die in Caabudwaaq---where it really came into "existence" (after Cabudwaq Ahlu Sunnah dissolved and joined).

2. Galmudug is not Kenyan Occupation Administration of Madoobe's jubbaland----Galmudug came through "wada ogol" or voluntary choice and personal recognition.

3. In particular, Marehan in Galmudug are the outsider coming in---they never did and they never will feel fully in. They don't need "much" to spectacularly tell the whole project "get lost."

4. Marehan in Galmudug are also not culturally, organizationally, or even behaviorally like Hawiye Galmudug including Habar Gidir.

5. Marehan Mudug are historically, tribally, and behaviorally Libertarian---neither colonialism, nor Ethiopia and nor the Somali state have ever been relevant to the choices they made to keep living between the border.

6. Finally, and most importantly, Marehan Mudug are a "commonwealth"---unlike Hawiye Mudug who are an "association." Understand this very carefully. Within Habar Gidir, "Sacad" cannot live in "Saleebaan" Cadaado. The association establishes strict hierarchical and horizontal rules of engagement and order. Without it, they do not exist as Habar Gidir since the "commonality" of being Habar Gidir means nothing consequentially. Marehan are the inverse. Deegaan and grazing is under common ownership; rules are a barrier to the intimacy of natural interaction, and there is no recognized feature or source both capable of or considered acceptable to have powers of compulsion.

Galmudug has already died in Caabudwaaq.

At this stage, my realistic concern is whether Abdi Waayeel wants to suffer the same fate---in Caabudwaaq.

It is time to stop being superficial.

There is a soap opera playing in Caabudwaaq and it is about to cut the chase in 3---2---1...

Caabudwaaq is Texas and these people think Vermont Communism is an ideology anyone even wants to hear about there.

If anyone is related to the young Caanood "Galmudug" NISA guy---tell him clearly and seriously to wash his hands off of this mess right now and walk away---

---before his name and relevance to Marehan, and god forbid more, also dies in Caabudwaaq.

I have come to instinctively understand Marehan---and Marehan---caawa duulaan buu go'aansaday.

The decision to take the Galmudug Habar Gidir official should be looked at to answer this question;

1. The decision to take means they no longer cared about Abdi Waayeel at all. Both him, his project, trying to talk to him, etc etc etc are all "irrelevant" to them at this point. They checked out.

2. The taking of the Habar Gidir man is "direct" communication with "Hawiye Galmudug." It is saying "HAWIYE, you are at liability here, because without you, none of this would be coming to Caabudwaaq---so I am done talking to him; now it is between Marehan and Hawiye so get your "effen" hands out of Caabudwaaq business."

3. The implication being if they do not---the HG man will be "sacrificed" to birth the bloodshed that will really separate Hawiye and Marehan by force crumbling Galmudug on its head.

You can be sure the decision to take the man carried the agreement to kill him if Galmudug does not forcefully extricate itself from anything to do with the grievance with Cabdi Waayeel in Caabudwaaq.

This is the beauty of the eye of the storm that people think the "quaint" silliness of a "cutesy kidnapping story" is all the importance of the moment.

The importance of the moment is the"ultimatum."

Extrication or War?

Cali ciid is much worse he is a glorified personal greeter for qoor qoor.

He is the clown that increased hutu representations from 2 to 4 in Balanbale.
