(SomaliNet) Somali parliament first deputy speaker Mohamed Omar Delha has said the administration of Mogadishu should be set up according to the country’s constitution.
Since former mayor and governor of Banadir region Mohamed Omar Habeeb Mohamed Dhere was sacked, Mogadishu, the capital of the strife-torn of Somalia, has been with out an administration, a move that caused a dispute between Mogadishu top leaders.
Delha told APA in an interview that in setting up the administration, consideration should be given to the majority of Mogadishu residents.
"Mogadishu is the capital of Somalia and its residents should take part in the new administration," he said.
"I urge to all Somalis, especially top leaders to set up the administration in a fair way.”-APA
