Thailand: Police ready to stop any anti-China activists as Olympic torch lands in Bangkok Fri. April 18, 2008 01:44 am.- By Bonny Apunyu. - (SomaliNet) Police said they were ready to stop any attempt by anti-China activists to put out the flame as the Olympic torch lands in Thailand’s capital of Bangkok on Friday "We will not tolerate any violent or illegal protests," Thai General Yuthasak Sasiprapa said.Yuthasak said short-cuts and alternative torch relay routes had been made ready in case of any "unexpected incidents". Police will also accompany torch runners.
