Philippines: 3 killed, 10 wounded as bomb rips through van in southern Philippines Fri. May 09, 2008 04:33 am.- By Bonny Apunyu. - (SomaliNet) At least 3 people dies and 10 others got injured when a homemade bomb ripped through a commuter van in southern Philippines on Thursday, police said. Chino Mamburam , town police chief Superintendent said the bomb in Midsayap township in North Cotabato province seemed to have been detonated remotely using a cell phone. Reports said tThe blast occurred as the van was about to leave a passenger terminal. Accordng to Army Col. Pedro Soria , troops had secured the area and were looking for clues that may lead to suspects.
