India: Militant group claims responsibility for Jaipur bomb attacks Thu. May 15, 2008 04:29 am.- By Bonny Apunyu. - (SomaliNet) Police said a militant group called the Indian Mujahideen has claimed responsibility for the attack on the western Indian city of Jaipur that killed at least 61 people and injured 216 people this week. National media broadcast a video clip, sent from the group via email, showing what looks like a bomb strapped on the back of a bicycle. Reports said the video showed a serial number of one of the bicycles. Police are currently investigating the authenticity of the video and the claim. The group said in the email that it was targetting the tourism industry and has threatened more attacks.
