Thailand: Six killed as air force helicopter crashes in southern Thailand Thu. August 07, 2008 02:06 am.- By Bonny Apunyu. - (SomaliNet) A Thai air force helicopter crashed in southern Thailand on Wednesday killing six people aboard, an army spokesman said. The spokesman said the six, two pilots, two mechanics and two rescue workers, were aboard the Bell UH-1H when it went down in the southern province of Yala. Meanwhile, the cause of the crash is not known. The spokesman said they do not suspect militant involvement in the accident.
