Established in 1999, Bascom Grooms Real Estate has become one of the leading firms in Florida Keys Real Estate. Originally, Bascom Grooms IV opened a small office above his parent’s store, The Bike Shop on Truman Avenue. After time a larger space was needed and Bascom Grooms Real Estate moved to 1102 White Street across from Fausto’s and his Realtor team grew and became a top producing brokerage in Key West. In 2008, the space on White Street suffered a severe fire and Bascom Grooms Real Estate later found a new home on Roosevelt Boulevard where the office has been and still is located centrally in the middle of Key West.
Bascom Grooms has been a name in the Keys since 1908 when Bascom Grooms Sr. originally moved to Key West. Grooms Sr. served as President of the Key West Electric Company and also the Key West Rotary. Bascom Grooms IV was also the Key West Rotary President in 2008.
Bascom Grooms IV is a fourth generation Conch and a local expert of Key West and the Florida Keys. He has maintained a small firm to better serve our real estate clientele with the highest and best level of service. With a team of agents that includes his wife, Beth Grooms and his mother, Marge Smith and step father, Gordon Smith the office offers personal service and a dedicated team to assist you with buying, investing, or selling in paradise.
