Don't listen to anzeloti!

Wash the eye thoroughly with cold water then go see your doctor. Trust me, I used to get red eye infections.

It might be nothing and the swollen eyelid might get better in the coming days, but you know the drill, better safe than sorry, go to a pharmacy and grab something reduce the swollen eye.

apart from getting it checked professionally, salt and water is the next best solution. Just make sure the salt concentration to the water is low. There are youtube videos on it and its benefits. And when your doing it..make sure you dont use the same solution (and container) with both eyes. This will cause cross contamination and make your eyes worse.

Good suggestion. I might try, but am mindful of how painful it's gonna get using salt+ hot water on infected eye-lid.
