makes absolutely no sense this Q of yours. if there is an A to your Q, then it defeats the very purpose of the prophecy itself!

explain (with proof!)....

Check it in Bukhari:
----------------------------------------------------
Volume 4, Book 52, Number 233:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle forbade the people to travel to a hostile country carrying (copies of) the Quran.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

It properly doesn't mean a country like America, we work here and go to school and can pray anywhere we want, but a hostile country will be like a country where you properly don't have any freedom and would be killed. A Godless place. you know that they will stand on the Quran and flash it in the toilet or burn it, do you want to witness that? or they may even kill you.

Maybe it implies not to go on "Peaching/spread the word" mission travels in hostile "areas/nations" as opposed to having the Quran with them for personal use? The Prophet of Islam (S.C.W) was known to be a diplomatic man, who respected territorial lines and kindom reigns, so this could have maybe been an extension of his message of Peace or something? Allahu yaclam. I'll look into it.

Could it also be that the Qur'an is the book of Allah (swt) and we muslims respect it highly (literally it has to be at the highest point of your rooms, or somewhere safe), and with non-muslims they might disregard that. Not to mention we have strict rules on handling it, you have to be physically clean.

I don't know if you lot do this, but we burn pages of qur'an lying (usually ripped ones) about the house or on books we've written on it; well I do anyways. I read you can also bury it.
