of course she is right, i just found her frustration funny.

That being said I have no intention on forfeiting the privilege islam affords me as a man even if that means some are mistreated.
What do you mean? Please elaborate.

I bet that tiny little socialist party and the spy who was hired to spy on them had no idea about the impact they would have on the world either (Nazism). Anything can change with time, even Al Qaeda was a much different ideology back in the day, most of its original supporters are shocked by the groups of today. Shit changes.

Besides...What are they actively doing to stop the rape of young boys, some barely out of being toddlers (5 years +). If they put as much effort into policing that nasty, horrific practise as they did on what women wear, we would have a safer and more prosperous country. The men who do this are robbing Afghanistan of its future. If girls have virtually no education in most parts, and young boys are sold off like that, how can you build for the future? How significant is their original concept in light of the opportunity they have wasted in guarding and ruling Afghanistan?
You added quite a bit, or maybe i didn't catch it.

You've touched on a lot, which has to do with more than just the Taliban. So much more.

Besides, they're actively engaging an invading force, so some things have taken a back seat.

Lol @ asking Sin to elaborate. This can't be good.

@gedo-girl - the Taliban allow the rape of young boys? Where on earth did you get that from? Have you got a source for it?

I watched some bbc documentary about this a while back and it's actually some tribes allied to Karzai's government who rape young boys but since it's easy to be a sheep and jump on the band wagon we'll just claim the Taliban are behind it...

The reason is called 'double standard'
pointing out the existence of other double standards to justify your own does you no good.
