jaahil wahiid
We are all ignorant, the difference is I know who to refer too.

btw, just because what grandpa said doesnt conform to your 'logical' understanding, you deem it backwards? that is the true ignorance if anything.

A woman cannot refuse her husband and she is cursed by the malaikah the whole night if her husband sleeps angry with her for that, its mentioned in a saheeh narration. With that said, marriage is a mutual relationship, things remain positive and healthy when both sides are happy with what they want.

Dr. yalaxoow there's no rape in slavery or marriage.

There are many men sitting in prison right now who met a judge/jury of their peers that begged to differ.

She's not cursed by the angels, staghfurallah, she's cursed by the hour-al ayn that are awaiting her husband in janna if he is a pious muslim. But if he is a pious muslim he will never put his wife in a position where she has no right to choose when she has sex. it's a catch 22, and it works both ways. This is my whole issue with snetters, they speak of things they have no knowledge of other than hearsay on the internet. I'm no scholar but I would never argue an islamic opinion I did not personally study and learn about from a trusted iman in person.

It is you who is ignorant kulaha staghfurallah! Sahiih hadith!
Allah's Apostle said, "If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning."
War gabadhan fudeysana!

 show me the hadith where it mentions hoor al ayn instead of malaikah, the one i said can be found in saheeh bukhari and saheeh muslim.
and i dont disagree with what you said, the true muslim indeed loves his spouse and respects her needs, likewise for her. i mean, what passion or enjoyment is there in sex if you just force yourself on a person who doesnt want it

 you'e right, the hadith I'm mentioning is in Ahmad.

“No woman annoys her husband but his wife among Al-Hoor Al-’Ayn says, ‘Do not annoy him! May Allah destroy you (Literally ‘Kill you’)! For he is just a temporary guest with you and soon he wil leave you and join (come to) us‘.”

[Ahmad 5/242. Al-Tirmidhee 1174. Ibn Maajah 2014]

That interpretation that i've bolded in your response is vital to the understanding of these hadith, something some people choose to ignore and say things like "you're cursed if you refuse sex" smh.

I think many of these controversial hadiths need to be re-examined and thrown out as unreliable.

Grandpa, you said there is no rape in slavery or marriage. You are factually wrong. Having sex with someone against her will is rape.
