The Al ash Shaykh clerics claim that rebellion against the Saud family is rebellion against Islam and/or God, and the Saud family establishes the Shaykh family as the only legitimate religious authority in Saudi Arabia and spreads their ancestor's ideology.

Are you denying the fact that the Saud and Wahab families swore a pact three hundred years ago to conquer Arabia together? Are you denying the fact that they've legitimized each other and are in firm control of their respective spheres? They've extensively intermarried, and can almost be regarded as one family. Just to show you an example, except for one rare instance, every single Grand Mufti since the establishment of the modern Saudi state has belonged to the Al Shaykh family.
