Qur'an Recitations

Postby ElfRuler » Thu Nov 22, 2012 10:58 pm

"And the angels will be on its sides, and eight angels will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them. That Day shall you be brought to Judgement, not a secret of you will be hidden. Then as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Take, read my Record! "Surely, I did believe that I shall meet my Account!" So he shall be in a life, well-pleasing. In a lofty Paradise,The fruits in bunches whereof will be low and near at hand. Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent on before you in days past!" (Surah Al-Haqqah 17-24)

"But as for him who will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: "I wish that I had not been given my Record! "And that I had never known, how my Account is? "I wish, would that it had been my end (death)! "My wealth has not availed me, "My power and arguments (to defend myself) have gone from me!" (It will be said): "Seize him and fetter him, Then throw him in the blazing Fire."Then fasten him with a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits!" Verily, He used not to believe in Allah, the Most Great, And urged not on the feeding of Al-Miskin (the poor), So no friend has he here this Day, Nor any food except filth from the washing of wounds, None will eat except the Khati'un (sinners, disbelievers, polytheists, etc.)." Surah Al-Haqqah 25-37

If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought.

He is Allah , other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

He is Allah , other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.

He is Allah , the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise
.( Surah Al-Hashr 21-24)

And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided. (Surah Baqarah V:186)

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence.
Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?
He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them,
and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills.
His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not.
And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
(Ayatul Kursi 2:255)

Sheikh Jamac Hareed Al-Somali.

Ta, Ha.
We have not sent down to you the Qur'an that you be distressed
But only as a reminder for those who fear [ Allah ] -
A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens,
To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil.
And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden.
Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names.
(Surah TaHa 1-8)

And [even] if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they continued therein to ascend,
They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic."

Say, "Who is Lord of the heavens and earth?
"Say, " Allah ."
Say, "Have you then taken besides Him allies not possessing [even] for themselves any benefit or any harm?"
Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing?
Or is darkness equivalent to light?
Or have they attributed to Allah partners who created like His creation so that the creation [of each] seemed similar to them?"
Say, " Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Prevailing."
(Surah Ar Rad Verse 16)

And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity.
And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind.
And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and
offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."
Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured,
and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace.
Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence.
Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?"
For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent.

--Surah Al-Furqan V:72-77

Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment."
He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day.
But my invitation increased them not except in flight.
And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears,
covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance.
Then I invited them publicly.
Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly
And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.
He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers
And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.
What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur
While He has created you in stages?

(Surah Nuh 1-14)

Sareedo, by simply listening to the Qur'an not only do you get ajar, but the heart softens, the eyes weep, the worries of the world disappear, and repentance comes much easier.

This thread will not be bright without Ayat an-Nur (Verse of Light)

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth.
The parable of His Light is a niche wherein is a lamp—
the lamp is in a glass, the glass as it were a glittering star—
lit from a blessed olive tree,
neither eastern nor western,
whose oil almost lights up,
though fire should not touch it.
Light upon light.
Allah guides to His Light whomever He wishes.
Allah draws parables for mankind,
and Allah has knowledge of all things.
(Surah Nur V:35)
