It's amazing, but I think your environment has a huge influence on the type of person you end up marrying!!

Living in a predominantely Somali state, I can't imagine marrying a non-Somali. In fact, I don't even make it an option for me to be with other ethnicities

but whenever my cousins from Virginia come to visit, all they talk about are whites, arabs, indians, pakistani's etc. none of them want to marry a Somali.......and if they do it's just an option and not a must for them.

For some its their life duty
For most, its indicative to who they fall in love with.

I dont think you should bestow your feelings about marring your own race to other people who may or may not feel the same way. Thats just wrong.
