You got to be carefully with Indian food
food trust me. Me and my friends used to hang out in the backroom of an Indian takeaway owned by my friend's dad with our girls most Fridays when 16 or so. Disgusting things went on with the food there wallahi.

Could've been one off but even so, Indian food is way too over stimulating and over spiced imo. Nothing beats our Somali isku dhexkaris with lamb. The Indiam biryani rice isn't bad either though.

We need to develop our Somali cuisine and make it mainstream like the Indians, Chinese and others have done. Typical Somali restaurant in Europe or Us only serves Somalis. We need to change that and if making new exciting variations are warranted, call me cos am the best cook on earth.

I always invent a new dish everytime I cook. I admit most of my adult relations n most friends are not always keen to try them but I do have few dedicated culinarily adventurous fans of all my new delights. Speciall mention for my lil fat cousin.

My style is simple. Just open the fridge and see what might go well together and cook. I've probably invented 70+ new Somali dishes using this method.
