It's one of the most expansive states to live in so of course Somalis won't flock to it.
They would rather move to welfare friendly states like Minnesota and Ohio.
I have relatives in San hose and San diego where most Somalis are concentrated but they can afford it because they
are engineers and accountants who have high paying jobs.
It also has a high tax rate compared to other states so if you want nice weather and sunshine
move to places like Texas which has lots of jobs and no tax income.

Speaking of California, my friend recently came back from there and told me Los Angeles County (outside of West L.A) is a dump filled with ghettos and schools that are gated and have no grass for kids to play with. And this was coming from a guy born and raised in ghetto impoverished hell on Earth Edmonton. Inglewood and Long Beach didn't get any positive reviews.

The California you see on TV is generally from neighboring/bordering L.A. counties where significant White/Asian/Jewish flight has happened. Orange County is where the middle and upper middle class have ran too for instance

I heard Californians pay just as much tax as Canadians in both sales and income taxes

But in terms of scenery, there isn't any other place on this side of the Atlantic that can beat Cali. Mountains, oceans, warm climate all year round, women, and that Spanish architecture

I guess if you're extremely well off then Cali would be Jannah for you, otherwise you'll be kicking it with the pirus and ese's in whatever shitty xaafad that you can afford. If I end up in the States I'd go to either Arizona, the Pacific Northwest, or the South. East Coast (DC is an exception) and the Midwest (Chicago another exception) just aren't my cup of tea
