Ducaale, they do have a constitution for the EU members, which was signed October 2004, but however whether each countries public wanna join it was a different matter,.... each member state should hold a referndum, but NONE of them can say NO for the constitution to take forc.. but France and Netherlands already spoiled the fun
we all now UK will say NO if they ever did a referendum...

But the constitution doesn't apply to whole member countries? As you stated it, France, Natherland, Germany and two other countries have declined to ratify the proposed constitution.
These are the same countries that first established the treaty for EU in 1957 in Paris. At that time, EU consisted of six member countries. It is all about the consumers with countries of highly sophisticated economic infrastructure. Turkey's per capita GDP is extremely so poor and hasn't met the conditions stipulated by the EU for her to improve its economic system.
Miachief, the EU was of great benefit to you personally, i think. You used to live in Italy right ?

NOOOOOO, who gave u such idea,,, i never moved from the UK. but I did go on Holiday to Italy and many other European countries, as well as nort america, the middle east, i go on and on.... ANYWYAS the POUND STERLING is the best, so why do i need the EURO... The only good thing EU is good for is Competition, more than 300 million people live in the EU, joining it would be great for business, reduced costs as well as other advantages
