Re: The banning of MAD MAC
I am determined not to back down. Although, to be fair to Screw, I have not yet been threatened with banning.

MAC, Islam is the hope for all mankind.....It is a way of life. I wouldn't call it a social and political order....it is a call to all mankind and whether you accept the call or not is up to you, but you have no right to insult Muslims or their prophet.
Padishah, I haven't read any inflammatory comments from him and in any case, that is not equivalent to insults directed at the prophet (scw).

Mad Mac;
Do as I recommend. The ONLY thing that would continue your banning would be your continued insulting the Prophet (PBUH), which, truthfully, serves no purpose in a discussion.
Change nothing else.
Eyes Only;
Mad Mac, as an 'diest', does not consider insulting the Prophet (PBUH) inflammatory. Yet, we do. We do not consider mouthing off about the 'eventual victory' of Islam inflammatory. But Mad Mac does, obviously. Not everyone is fit to determine what is inflammatory to another.

Could not have said it better myself.
"madmac thinks muslims are red indians."
MAD MAC's grandmother was a "red indian" from the MIC MAC tribe of Northern Maine.
"No wonder this college drop out is so obssessed with Islam."
I graduated from Norwich University in 1984 with honors.

madmac this is a useful website where you can express your filty views.
www.stormfront.org
Listen you have all the characterisitcs of a college drop out.
So claimming fictitous credentials will not help you.
You see one of this fine days you will be in court explaining how on earth you have been luring kids to central park.

Does this mean you will cease with the insults?

Re: The banning of MAD MAC
StromFront! Now there's a website I haven't seen in ages.
I read through all there material, and it was quite interesting, where it was factually accurate. Things like the Red-headed Mummies business detract. Apparantly, this is pivotal proof that the Pharoahs were White, and disregards the practice of putting Henna on the dead.

"Does this mean you will cease with the insults?"
the day the Islamists cease with the platitudes, MAC will cease with the insults. They are, of course, tied together.
Follow the logic train here. The Islamists deify Mohammed. He is, in short, the personifacation of the word of God. He has become unimpeachable. When an individual, who so obviously had human flaws (anyone arguing he wasn't a womanizer is just flat out ignoring the facts), is put above reproach, then OBVIOUSLY his message is subsequently put above reproach. Since his message was political and social, as well as spiratual, it stands to reason that placing his character out of bounds means that ground must be yielded to political Islam, which you know I will never do.
In this context, were I to sit around and talk about how great Thomas Jefforson (PBUH) was, and in my mind he was certainly equal to Mohammed in intellect and character, perhaps superior, then the detractors would justifiably discuss his ownership of slaves and his proven dalliances with at least one of them.
So Mohammed can only be taken off the table, if people like Helwaa and Cutie stop talking about him, which they refuse to do.

Re: The banning of MAD MAC
Unfortunately, the above does not make for a convincing argument as to why we should continue putting up with ungrounding INSULTS against the Prophet (PBUH). Asking you to not INSULT the Prophet (PBUH) does not put the Prophet (PBUH) above any analysis or reproach. Quite the contrary. You can argue the merits of his message, personal character or any other aspect of the Prophet (PBUH), but insults do nothing but insult, and contribute nothing to a discussion, as I've said numerous times.
And its a little presumptious telling Muslims not to talk about their Prophet (PBUH) on one of their Forums. It is extremely presumptious, in fact.
You know what, do not bother cloaking your perverse glee at insulting the Prophet (PBUH) by giving us the 'above reproach' line.
I can no longer afford going out on a limb for you Mad Mac, where you will not give an millimeter in return.

You'll get a meter in return, but there is no give. IT isn't YOU that we are discussing here. It is the Islamists. They have to give ground in order for me to give ground. Consider this a negotiation like between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Tit for tat.
And when you say insulting, that means putting the character of Mohammed into question. For example, were I to say that Mohammed might well have had pedophelia tendencies, given the age of Aisha when they first had sex, everyone here would say that was an insult. Were I to say he was obviously a womanizer, given the number of wives and concubines he had sex with, again, everyone here would consider that an insult. Under what context can you envision me challenging Mohammed's character that would not be preceived here as insult?

I know no such thing and would consider Mohatma Ghandi and Nelson Mandela, to name two off the top of my head, to be morally superior to Mohammed.
