I am not Wahabi, nor am I fanatical. But I do think that having at the least a modicum of Islam about you is desirable.

Do what LoveAlways has said. Time is short and though you shouldn't jump on the first lovely person you meet, you should also give them a chance.
If she has desire to learn more and strive towards improving her imaan, why not? Of course thinking long-term, she'll be the first school to your children, so you need to be confident she wants to pass on the deen to them.

But she is entirely lacking in the deen department, which makes all the above irrelevant. :meles:

That's Basra! Now the question is, is Basra wife material?

I am flattered yet offended by that vote of candidate-sy. :o

My vanity thanks you, but reason or rationality is offended and instructs you to understand--octa is a female, talking about herself. :eat:

Having analysed your comments in detail, they suggest that in your subconscious you identify with the description I posted. Hence why find it so easy to project onto others this description you identify with. :leon:

Octa

The portrait u paint with those descriptions are indeed exceptional and accomplished. I will be lucky to be bestowed with such accolade. But, as far as projecting: Ma'am, I assure YOU, I do no such thing. I am prepared to sacrifice my life to insist you are the person you are describing up there. You are also the somalinet character 'sophisticate'! I say this with confidence based on NO imagined hubris, but years of having the honor to exchange posts with you. In savage lingo? I know u, I feel u. :eat:
