Bliss, I didn't understand the basis of your argument. Do you want to preserve somali clans and maintain them as they are today with their sublcans? If that is yes, somalis are patriachal society, so even if a man marries a woman from another clan, her blood is discounted when it comes to geneology. So there is no point in marrying same clan to maintain the existence of the clan if that was your objective. If you meant something else and that clans should not mix, that is entirely something different.
