Put the Islamist in a Ceremonial Presidency, and save us from their psuedo-Islamic nonsense.

[The current available choices are not between ICU and TFG. They are between accepting an internationally financed and supported process of reconciliation leading to an election , and continuing the murderous anarchy.]

The US failed to stop the murderous anarchy in the early 90's (Operation Restore Hope). The same with the UN. It's highly doubtful Ethiopian occupiers can stop the murderous anarchy. Only the Islamic Courts Union managed to successfully stop the murderous anarchy. The US wasn't happy with that. It conspired with Ethiopia to reignite the murderous anarchy.

Just because the TFG is internationally financed or recognized doesn't mean it's supported by the people it's supposed to serve. Only few support it, namely thugs, warlords, war criminals, mercenaries, profiteers, corrupt politicians, etc who happen to be its makeup.

i support a goverment thus in this case the tfg lets be honest their can be no 2 goverments like the terrorists that are beeing created in asmara ore the courts.we all see that this goverment is corrupt and not perfect and the us saw it and thats why they are for goverment change mark my words c/yusuf and ali geedi will resign and somali politcians from canada britian us and europe will join the new goverment and if you dislike them hey why worry somalis will go the polls and will chose their favourite leader.we can win thus only if their is a democracy system by voting, with suicide bombers and fighting back you will go nowhere nowhere than going back to square 1. viva tfg.

Somalis are at least 99% Muslims, and most of them don't want a democracy system; they want an Islamic system. A democracy system means a system in which minorities are marginalized and discriminated (like black Americans), corporate/interest/lobbyist groups elect the government, alcohol, prostitution, dating, same-sex marriage, usury, porno movies and many harams are allowed. A democracy system isn't compatible with Muslims.

Democratic systems come in many forms, the US version is the worst by far. I would even argue that the US political system is not even democratic in its characteristics, the only democratic feature the US system has is just the accessibility of voting. The US has an elitist system in which a small group of powerful people rule. Furthermore, their electoral process lacks the any plurality with regards to their voting system which is fundamental to the democratic process, it lacks proportional representation. That said, when it comes to Somalia, I believe that democratic socialist would work best.

TFG is a transitional government, by definition it's not expected to last long.

A democratic socialist system isn't compatible with Muslims. There's no Muslim country where a democratic socialist system succeeded.
