I will post her details when I get home, but he told universal TV and everybody who cant be bothered to check the results he had won. My cousin told me about this jocker.Executive wrote:At least 7 new Somali Councilors in the UK local elections, The Somali community in the UK turned out to vote in great numbers. Liela and Cirwaaq
There shouldn't be a connection between the election of UK Somalis to party offices and them becoming tool for Somaliland politicians. It is like a chess game where the first move is not always profitable.
What about the next election? What about united Somali front in UK? What about people outgrowing from traditional mentality?

what that has todo with them counscilors been from Somaliland and the case for somaliland??? somali this or that shit got nothing to do with Somaliland , all these folks who were elected agree on Somaliland been a nation. If you vote or don't vote for them won't change their alligence to their orginal land.

Re: Huge Victory for Somalis in the Local Elections 2010
Correction: Somaliland is not a nation it is the nothern part of Somalia.
Let's just say my parents are from Mudug and I have been born and raised in London. I also agree Somalis minding their business and being united for their local interests such as better education, good policing, economic opportunity. Now come at election time I vote for a Somali and I think he will do something about these issues. However for some clanish reasons those elected start to think about their clan more and use their newly gained political visibilty to put their clans interest ahead of Somali interest both locally and Somalia's interets.
What affect would have that on Somali relations in UK?
It simply means that the non-iSSAQs would not vote for these local councilmen = more division and more competition becuase the local coucil men are not thinking about the picture and they are being clanish.
Any Issaq man or woman who thinks Somaliland is a nation is simply clanish.

Nolol Cusub,
The very reason you are anti-somaliland is because of your are a Daarood and thats clanish, what you think or don't think matters little whats important its fact, fact are the majority of the people of somaliland will run somaliland and will direct its destiny regardless what the minority wish.
Now nobody is forecing you to vote for Isaaq running for office in UK , the fact is still all these Isaaqs in UK are ardent somalilanders and your Kuumbo vote won't change their philosophy. Somaliland will stay somaliland wether you like it or not its matter of power anybody who stand on out way will be crushed , your Daarood used "somalinimo" as a toilet paper and now some 20 years latter you are carying an empty mantra .

Re: Huge Victory for Somalis in the Local Elections 2010
He is right I am Hawiye. I also know that my experience with reer wuqooyi people is great. The most honest straight forward Somalis you will ever see in my opinion. So, I am not against your people. I am against the clanish Ideas of curving up Somalia. That is where my line is drawn.
It is local
It is not about a question of whether the Northern part of Somalia becomes independent or not, it is about what affect that would have the relations among somalis in UK if the councilmen get taken my Somaliland PR. That is the point.

Re: Huge Victory for Somalis in the Local Elections 2010
You must be dim-witted if you didn't notice these elected men are Isaaq and thus ardent somaliland supporters. simply because you beleive in a fantasy land called Great Somalia it doesn't mean we have to agree with your fantasy and sacrifice our interest for the interest of a delusional Hawiye boy.
Read my words kid, Somaliland will never sacrifice its nationahood another time, we did that once and your Hawiye distributed power under Adan Cade and gave the primie minister of somaliland Xaaji Ibraahim Cigaal the post of minister of education , and yet Isaaq accepted that , no Hawiye nor Daarood sacrificed as much as Isaaq did for this "somalinimo" dream, but not this time around so save it kid.
