Has anyone noticed that almost all level headed AA getting interviewed on Americans news Channels have Muslim names and are Muslim perhaps ...I thought Philly had the most AA blacks but never really though BMore had it too..

I am aware that Nation of Islam was shipped in and these I am referring to are local looking while NOI usually wear a suit

Dear summerain, you could be right that for this particular event white America cannot be blamed. But institutionalised racism and history does play a very important role.

While the living standards of AA has improved and there are many that have leapfrogged, it is diffocult for many to catch up. All available statistics paint a horrible picture. I think the underlying reason is history and institutional racism embedded in the minds of white america.

As I wrote above this book is worth reading; An American Dilemma: The Negro Problem and Modern Democracy"1944 by Gunnar Myrdal.
You folks know nothing abt the situation here in the US...in one hand you have a AA who has greviences but on the other hand you have a Cadaan who views them as criminal savages ...and I as a Somali I wholeheartedly side with the Cadaan men..you folks would lose all sympathy for the cursed AA..these people have no one else to blame but themselves walahi...Play ball with them then youl see how xoolo these folks are from young to old ..their men folks are all abt degrading their women folks ..theirs no father figure ..the rate of illegitimate children is at 85%..dysfunctional family households are rampant ..the young look up to rappers and they glorify athletes for them where they would kill each other for a pair Jordans...instead of glorifying the few black great scientist they glorify lil Wayne ...waar walahi ninkii la dagan baa garanaya cawaantan

That said, USA is stil the best country in the world to live in and have a better chance to pull yourself up by your bootstraps than any other country.

PS: Djibouti Ambassador, Roble Olhaye, should retire. He has been an ambassador to USA since before I was born!
PG County ain't bad dude. Laurel, Bowie, Glenn Dale are all nice places to live in the northern part of the county.

National Harbor and Fort Washington are also good too.

But places like Suitland, Oxon Hill, Temple Hills, District Heights, Capitol Heights (anywhere with Heights :lol) are ghetto.

substitute the word aa for Somali, and you will find many of these problems are to be found in the Somalis.in fact young Somalis are probably the biggest copycats of gang culture.of course Somalis are white chimpanzees on the evolution ladder.

On top of all the crap African Americans have had to put up with, who wouldn't react like this when the judicial system tells them time and time again that the lives of their men ain't worth shit?

Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.

Frederick Douglass

Surprised it's not worse

Not a conspiracy but a well documented fact.
